Job Description:

Our client is looking for an Associate Attorney with a robust
background in class actions and a passion for expanding into new
areas of law. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing
skills, experience in federal and state courts, and a desire to
engage in a variety of practice areas. Experience with business
disputes and contract law is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

* Class Actions:
* Manage and litigate class action cases, including wage and
hour, privacy, and other relevant areas.
* Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on class action
issues and complex litigation matters.
* Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions,
and briefs.
* Prepare and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
* Business Disputes:
* Assist in expanding the firm’s practice into new areas, such as
business disputes between biotechs and pharmaceutical companies.
* Handle contract disputes and business-related litigation.
* Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategies for new
practice areas.
* Case Management:
* Oversee case preparation and management from inception through
resolution.
* Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to
interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.
* Analyze case materials and provide strategic recommendations to
the legal team.
* Client Interaction:
* Communicate with clients to provide updates, gather
information, and address concerns.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
* Legal Writing and Research:
* Produce high-quality legal research and writing, including
legal memoranda, case briefs, and motions.
* Stay updated on legal trends and developments relevant to class
actions and business disputes.

Qualifications:

* Education and Experience:
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
* Admitted to practice in California.
* Strong experience in class action litigation is highly
preferred.
* Experience in business disputes, including contract law, is a
plus.
* Proven ability to manage complex litigation and multiple cases
simultaneously.
