Our client, an AM Law 100 firm, is looking to hire a
Communications Visibility Manager at their offices in New York
City. This is a full time, direct hire paying an annual base
salary of $170K to $190K plus a performance-based bonus and
excellent benefits package. This position will allow for a hybrid
work week with 3 days a week onsite. Candidates should possess a
strong background in public relations, communications and
marketing.

OVERVIEW
As a Communications Visibility Manager, you will help expand
brand reach and visibility for our client and all of its practice
areas by identifying the most important conferences, panels and
other networking and speaking opportunities for attorneys.
This role will work closely with other members of the
Communications team and managers in the Business Development team
to map out a visibility calendar for individual partners and
practice groups. The ideal candidate has a firsthand knowledge of
the most important and influential events and conferences in the
legal and financial space and an understanding of how to best
engage with each.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Work closely with the Business Development and Communications
teams to own and oversee conference participation, including
sponsorships and speaking, and ensure activity is in-line with
the firm’s and individual attorneys’ BD and visibility strategies
* Own relationships with key conference organizers in the legal
industry and our key client industries (finance, tech, private
equity, etc.)
* Ensure that all of the moving parts associated with conferences
are handled, working with other teams/departments as appropriate
* Mentor and oversee a junior team member
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE BRINGS:
* A degree in journalism, communications, marketing, English or a
related field
* A minimum of 6-8 years experience in public relations,
executive visibility, project management, or a related field
* Experience working with financial or professional services
firms is preferred (either in an in-house or agency setting)
* Strong organizational/project management skills and proven
ability to hit deadlines
* Experience managing or supervising others on projects
* Experience collaborating with and presenting to senior
executives/attorneys
