on patent litigation performed in a mid to large law firm
setting.
Job Description:
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an IP Litigation
Associate with a minimum of 3 years patent litigation experience
to join their IP Litigation Practice in their Austin, Texas
office. Our client offers exciting and challenging work in a
thriving and collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
* Provide thorough factual and legal research and analysis in
pleadings, memoranda, and other written documents.
* Draft pleadings and other case documents.
* Attend hearings.
* Manage matters from commencement to final resolution.
* Competently and professionally communicate with clients and
supervising attorneys.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet
deadlines.
* Strong organization and matter management skills.
* Ability to work professionally and effectively with Clients,
Partners, Associate and Support Staff.
* Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team.
* Familiarity with and ability to prepare basic and complex
litigation documents.
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
* Admission to the Bar in Texas in good standing.
* 3 years of experience in patent litigation with a mid-size or
large law firm.
* Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, with
exceptional attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under
pressure to meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
