Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a JD, admitted to the FL bar with
8+ years of litigation experience in commercial litigation and/or
fiduciary litigation.
As a Litigation Associate you will lead and manage fiduciary
and/or commercial litigation cases. You will work closely with
the trial team throughout the litigation process. You will handle
1st chair in these trials also. The ideal candidate has a strong
academic background, excellent analytical and writing skills, and
a passion for litigation.
Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing fiduciary and/or commercial litigation
cases
* Serving as 1st Chair in trials
* Providing detailed and precise legal documentation
* Collaborating effectively with team members
* Managing multiple cases and tasks simultaneously
* Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation
strategies and case preparation.
* Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal
documents.
* Assist with discovery efforts, including drafting and
responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and
requests for admission.
* Review and analyze documents, evidence, and witness statements
for potential case strengths and weaknesses.
Qualifications:
* 8-15 years of strong experience in fiduciary litigation or
commercial litigation
* 1st Chair trial experience
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
* Admission to the FL Bar
* Excellent attention to detail
* Team player
* Strong ability to multi-task.
* Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, with
exceptional attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under
pressure to meet deadlines.
* Experience with drafting and reviewing legal documents,
including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
* Familiarity with the rules of civil procedure and other
relevant procedural rules.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and
collaboratively as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
