Job Description:
Our client, a multispecialty mid-sized law firm headquartered in
Virginia, is seeking a corporate associate to work with their
Chambers-rated Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Business
Services groups. The firm’s M&A practice group works with private
equity firms and other private company parties in a variety of
capital transactions across the United States and
internationally.
Qualifications:
* Candidates should have 3 – 5 years of strong transactional
experience, including M&A, general corporate work.
* Experience working with privately held companies.
* Strong academics, analytical skills, and a positive attitude.
* Large regional or national law firm experience.
* A desire to work on a range of corporate transactions with
direct client contact and responsibility for negotiations,
including national and international M&A transactions.
* Finance and private equity experience is a plus.
* Candidates must be licensed or eligible to be licensed to
practice in Virginia.
