Job Title: Personal Injury Litigation Defense Associate Attorney
FLSA Classification:

Location: Orlando, FL

Salary: (DOE), bonus potential, Exempt

Hybrid: First 90 onsite; followed by Hybrid with 2 days in
office. Subject to change, will be adjusted during trial prep

Schedule: Full-time; Hybrid

Reports to: Managing Shareholder

Job Description:

Immediate opening for a strong Personal Injury Litigation Defense
Attorney or Of-Counsel with 2-7 years of defense litigation
experience. Trial experience a plus but not required. This is an
excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop and
build their practice for long-term success.

Minimum Requirements, Responsibilities, Skills, and Abilities:

* Conduct legal research and analysis on personal injury defense
* Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
* Assist in the preparation of discovery requests and responses.
* Conduct depositions, witness interviews, and other fact-finding
* Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with
senior attorneys.
* Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as
* Assigns work to department legal assistant.
* Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and
other parties involved in litigation.
* Manage case files, deadlines, and documentation in an organized
and efficient manner.
* Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various matters
related to personal injury defense litigation.
* Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and legal
precedent relevant to personal injury defense

Required Skills:

* Strong analytical and writing skills;
* Clear and effective communication skills;
* Able to work independently and in a collective team
* Strong work ethic and an ability to meet deadlines
* Experience using Westlaw for legal research; ATO experience
* Highly motivated and dedicated to excellent client service.

Education and Experience:

* Licensed in the state of Florida
* 2-7 years of applicable defense experience, including

Physical Requirements:

* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
* Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Work Environment:

* The first 90 days of onboarding/training are required to occur
on-site; Subject to change per the Managing Shareholder
* Currently working a hybrid schedule with two days weekly in
* More in-office time is required during trial preparation.
* Successful candidates will feel confident about their ability
