DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
* The ideal candidate will lead, support, and develop a technical
team dedicated to Cold Roll Mill/Steel Process Technology
activities to effectively support our client’s business
objectives. The Area Manager will lead major improvement
projects, Metal Process Technology, Metal process and Improvement
of steel process. Quality of the steel product and technology
utilized.
The Basics
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or
Operations Management field
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a progressive leadership role
* Background in all major steel mill processes and products, with
particular in–depth knowledge of Rolling process and technology,
with solid understanding from quality point of view
* Basic understanding of heat, mass transfer, and material
plasticity
* Demonstrated knowledge of steel rolling properties
* Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to
effectively work cross-functionally with various groups
* Proficiency in MS Office products
The Extras
* Working knowledge of SAP applications
* Experience leading and/or managing teams within manufacturing
industry preferred

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
* Provides technical support for all Cold Roll Mill units,
including timely and appropriate management
* Responsible for regular reporting of Cold Roll Mill process
performance to senior management

* Fulfill the responsibilities required to achieve the Quality
Commitment and Environmental Commitment
* Ensure working knowledge of competencies as defined in ISO
14001 (current version), IATF 16949 (current version), and ISO
17025 (current version)
