Job Description:
Paralegals are a critical part of the firm’s client service
teams, working side by side with lawyers, co-counsel and clients
on an array of substantive client matters. The majority of the
firm’s paralegals are career professionals. They work
independently and on teams, locally, nationally and globally.
The paralegal team itself includes Case Assistants, Paralegals,
Senior Paralegals and Paralegal Specialists. The firm offers

Job Responsibilities:
Your day will be spent performing a range of substantive case,
matter, or entity-related duties by supporting efforts between
attorneys, clients, outside legal counsel, opposing legal
counsel, and other parties. This will include developing,
monitoring, and updating closing and other books and other
documents.
You will also be responsible for researching, preparing, and
filing legal UCC Financing Statements, Articles of
Incorporation/Organization, annual reports, managing data rooms,
and matter files, coordinating execution and delivery of
documentation to other parties’ counsel, lenders, governmental
agencies, etc., including all closing documentation. You will
also develop, monitor, and update closing and other checklists.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
· 6 years’ Paralegal experience supporting a Finance
practice group in a law firm or professional services environment
· Blue Sky Experience
· Experience managing data rooms and matter files on
document management systems
· Detail-oriented and self-motivated
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large
volumes of work
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience preparing and filing a variety of corporate
legal documents (Articles of Incorporation/Organization,
amendments, state qualifications, consents, merger documents,
closing books, electronic closing sets, initial drafts or
certificates, short-form closing deliverables, and filing annual
reports)
· Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Large firm experience
