Our team is currently looking for a Senior Quality Analyst who is
responsible for the executing the core activities of the test
effort including test planning, strategy, execution, and
coordination. Your primary focus will be to plan, document,
execute, evaluate, and track testing results ensuring
applications with no major defects. Input on tool selection and
test automation implementation will also require your
involvement.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute test plans, test scripts and procedures for
new pieces of software and work with development team to resolve
defects prior to production release
• Detect defects throughout the development process, recording
what went wrong and how it was addressed
• Work as part of a team to identify and implement testing tools
to improve project efficiencies • Set up, maintain, and perform
test automation frameworks
• Work cross functional areas with teams in a disciplined agile
environment.
• Estimate testing tasks and works productively with supervision
Qualifications:
• BS or higher in Computer Science/Engineering or other relevant
degree
• 2-3 years previous hands on quality assurance experience
• Experience with software development processes (SDLC, Agile,
etc)
• Experience developing test plans and test strategies
• Experience in testing React Native and REST interfaces
• Knowledge of testing tools, approaches, techniques, and
experience in the appropriate use of test automation
• Experience with Javascript/React testing tools preferred
• Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Self-driven, team player with excellent communication skills
(written and oral)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and react to
situations as they arise in the appropriate manner.
• Must have critical thinking and decision making skills with
ability to work independently
• Must be dependable, punctual, and reliable and meet project
