Title: Tax Accountant (Private Client Services)
Location: Philadelphia, PA or Mount Laurel, NJ or Wilmington, DE
(hybrid schedule – 3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote,
however Tuesday is a mandatory day for the group to be in the
office.
Type: Temp to Perm (Full-time role via contract to hire, will
convert to FTE in 4-6 months)
Rate/Salary: $55 – $65/hr (W2 or 1099) converting at $125K salary

The ideal candidate will demonstrate superior organizational, and
problem solving skills and the ability to set priorities and
manage multiple deadlines in a fast passed environment. Be
self-motivated, results-orientated professional exuding integrity
and able to build trust and credibility with all parties. Have a
keen attention to detail and accuracy, outstanding interpersonal
skills, ability to interact with a broad range of people, ability
to communicate effectively and establish a good rapport with
clients.
Required Experience
§ Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minimum of five years of
relevant experience, preferably in a professional services
environment.
§ Substantial tax return preparation skills
§ Experience reviewing and supervising the work of others in the
preparation of tax returns.
§ CPA or enrolled agent is preferred but applicants with
extensive experience will be considered.
§ Knowledge of tax preparation software, preferably ProSystems
fx, as well as ability to master new software as needed.
§ Must be willing to accept responsibilities that may demand a
commitment of more than 40 hours per week, particularly in peak
seasons. A flexible schedule is available during non-peak
seasons.
§ Preparing fiduciary tax returns and federal tax returns.
§ Strong attention to detail/accuracy is key.
§ They must be able to work against deadlines, be calm and have
the ability to interact with clients. We need someone with more
experience than just corporate tax returns.
§ This position does a lot of estate work. Knowing the laws and
regulations is important.
§ We would like to see applicants have experience with
multi-state, local tax returns and 1041s but if not, we would be
willing to teach.
§ Strong Excel skills
