licensed in California Salary: 120-130K

Work Environment: Fully remote (Must be barred in CA) UNLESS you
live close to one of our client’s offices then it will be 3 days
in office (Tuesday mandatory) and 2 days WFH

There are 3 open positions

MUST HAVE experience litigating class actions

MUST HAVE Employment/wage and hour claims experience

3-7 years of experience (no more and no less)

Candidates must provide a writing sample in order to be
submitted.

Job Description

Our client is looking for several Associate Attorneys with
significant experience in litigating class and collective actions
and handling employment and wage and hour claims. The ideal
candidate will have a proven track record in these areas,
excellent legal research and writing skills, and the ability to
manage complex litigation effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

* Litigation and Case Management:
* Manage and litigate class and collective action cases,
including wage and hour disputes and other employment-related
claims.
* Oversee all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment
and discovery to motion practice and trial preparation.
* Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions,
and briefs.
* Conduct and respond to discovery, including depositions,
interrogatories, and requests for production.
* Legal Research and Writing:
* Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis on issues
related to class actions, wage and hour claims, and employment
law.
* Prepare and review legal memoranda, case briefs, and strategic
recommendations.
* Develop and argue motions, including class certification
motions and dispositive motions.
* Client and Opposing Counsel Interaction:
* Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, gather
information, and address legal concerns.
* Liaise with opposing counsel to negotiate settlements, resolve
disputes, and manage case progress.
* Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and other legal
proceedings.
* Strategic Planning:
* Develop case strategies and litigation plans in collaboration
with senior attorneys.
* Analyze case trends and legal developments to inform case
strategy and client advice.
* Professional Development:
* Stay abreast of current trends, legal developments, and best
practices in employment law and class action litigation.
* Participate in firm-sponsored training, workshops, and
continuing legal education opportunities.

Qualifications:

* Education and Experience:
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
* Admitted to practice in California.
* 3-7 years of experience litigating class and collective
actions, including employment, wage, and hour claims.
* Demonstrated experience with all aspects of class action
litigation, including class certification and trial preparation.
