Job Description:

A downtown Jacksonville law firm is seeking an entry-level
Associate Attorney to join its growing insurance defense
practice. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated attorney or
recent law graduate with a strong interest in insurance defense
litigation, particularly bodily injury and automobile matters.

The firm is seeking a candidate who is eager to learn, thrives in
a collaborative environment, and is ready to gain hands-on
litigation experience working alongside experienced attorneys in
a fast-paced practice.

Key Responsibilities

* Advocate on behalf of clients in insurance defense matters
* Assist with the management of bodily injury and automobile
defense cases
* Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of litigation
issues
* Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, memoranda,
discovery, correspondence, and proposed orders
* Assist senior attorneys with hearings, depositions, mediations,
and trial preparation
* Maintain organized and accurate case files and documentation
* Collaborate with attorneys and staff to achieve successful
client outcomes
* Manage deadlines and prioritize assignments in a high-volume
litigation environment

Qualifications

* Active membership in the Florida Bar or scheduled to take the
July 2026 Florida Bar Exam
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
* Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
environment
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation setting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, and Microsoft Office
Suite
* Interest in insurance defense litigation
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
* Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
