A well-established law firm is seeking a seasoned Trust & Estate
Attorney to lead a high-performing planning team. This role
offers the ideal balance of autonomy, flexibility, and access to
firm resources, while providing an opportunity to collaborate
across practice areas. Candidates with an existing book of
business can expand their practice by engaging with colleagues
and supporting complementary areas of expertise. Our client base
includes high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals,
families, and business owners.

Responsibilities

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and
business partners.
* Lead and oversee a team of attorneys and paralegals, ensuring
timely and accurate completion of projects.
* Draft and implement sophisticated estate planning documents,
including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
* Advise clients on complex tax strategies to minimize estate tax
liability and optimize wealth transfer.
* Develop and implement succession plans for family businesses
and high-net-worth individuals.
* Coordinate with clients, their advisors, and firm attorneys to
deliver seamless, integrated solutions.
* Collaborate internally with other practice areas to enhance
client outcomes where appropriate.

Qualifications

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in trusts & estates and
advanced estate planning.
* LL.M. in Taxation required.
* Established and sustainable book of business in trusts &
estates.
* Expertise in estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer
taxes.
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client
management skills.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating with other
attorneys as needed.
