Title: Business Analyst – Payroll

Location: 100% Remote

Salary: $30-$35/HR W2

Work Environment: 100% Remote

Term: Contract- 1 month

JOB DESCRIPTION

* Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy in timekeeping,
deductions, and employee
* compensation.
* Maintain employee payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and
compliance.
* Audit timesheets, reconcile payroll transactions, and resolve
discrepancies.
* Coordinate with Finance to ensure payroll ledger accuracy and
timely tax filings.
* Prepare reports including payroll summaries, audit data, and
year-end reports (e.g., W-2s).

Compliance & HR Operations Support:

* Support compliance with all applicable wage, hour, and benefits
laws (ACA, COBRA,
* ERISA, FMLA, etc.).
* Prepare compensation documentation as needed and support
performance review cycle
* from a payroll/benefit standpoint.
* Collaborate with HR and Finance during audits or reporting
periods (internal or external).
* Ensure compliance with retirement plan regulations, including
conducting and coordinating
* non-discrimination testing and preparing required filings.
Maintain secure and accurate
* digital and physical records related to payroll and benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS

* 5+ years of experience in payroll processing.

Skills & Competencies:

* Strong working knowledge of federal and state payroll laws, tax
reporting, and benefits
* regulations.
* Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems (ADP or BambooHR
preferred) and Microsoft
* Office (especially Excel).
