Work Environment: Multiple roles available in New York (hybrid)
and California, Texas or Chicago (fully remote PST hours only)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, a highly regarded international law firm is seeking a
Conflicts Analyst to support the firm’s conflicts clearance and
new business intake processes.

Core Responsibilities

* Conduct thorough conflicts checks / screenings and review
reports for potential conflicts of interest
* Maintain and update accurate, reliable database records
* Collaborate with conflicts team, attorneys, and General Counsel
to resolve issues and support matter openings
* Communicate with attorneys and staff to gather information,
clarify discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy
* Validate conflicts check requirements to ensure policy and
legal compliance
* Perform corporate research to verify entities and understand
organizational structures
* Coordinate with accounting and internal teams to ensure data
consistency
* Provide after-hours or weekend support as needed
* Follow firm policies, procedures, and operational standards

Qualifications & Skills

* Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, with ability to
learn new systems (e.g., iManage)
* Understanding of conflicts processes in legal/professional
services environments
* Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
* High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Exercise discretion, sound judgment, and confidentiality
* Work effectively independently and collaboratively
* Flexible with scheduling based on business needs

Education & Experience

* Bachelor’s degree required
* 2+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional
services setting
* Experience in a conflicts department (Am Law 50 preferred
