Job Description

A well-established, nationally recognized litigation firm is a
temp to perm Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to support
its Los Angeles office. This role will provide high-level
administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling a
variety of civil litigation matters, including general liability,
warranty, and construction-related cases.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented

Key Responsibilities

* Draft, edit, format, and finalize a wide range of legal
documents including correspondence, memoranda, pleadings,
discovery, motions, and briefs
* File and serve legal documents in California state and federal
courts, ensuring compliance with applicable rules and deadlines
* Communicate professionally with courts, opposing counsel,
clients, and vendors
* Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling court
appearances, depositions, meetings, and deadlines
* Open and maintain case files, ensuring accurate organization of
both physical and electronic documents
* Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits,
coordinating witnesses, and preparing trial materials
* Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for attorneys,
depositions, and meetings
* Process vendor invoices, prepare check requests, and handle
expense reimbursements
* Enter attorney time into the firm’s timekeeping system
accurately and in a timely manner
* Collaborate with attorneys and team members to support overall
workflow and case management
* Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning,
copying, and managing office supplies

Qualifications

* High school diploma required
* Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant in a
civil litigation environment
* Strong knowledge of California state and federal court
procedures and rules
* Solid understanding of civil litigation processes, legal
terminology, and court deadlines
* Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the
ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
* High attention to detail with strong proofreading and document
formatting skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint) and electronic filing systems
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
* Strong communication skills and ability to work both
independently and collaboratively
* Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload in a
deadline-driven environment
