JOB DESCRIPTION

A mid‑sized law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal
Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative and document
support to a team of attorneys. This full‑time position includes
a hybrid work schedule following the initial training period.

Position Overview:

The Legal Secretary will support multiple attorneys with a wide
range of administrative, organizational, and document‑production
responsibilities. The role requires strong attention to detail,
sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities in
a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Provide daily administrative and secretarial support to
assigned attorneys.

* Draft, revise, and proofread documents, correspondence,
memoranda, and related materials.
* Assist with preparing materials for meetings, hearings, and
other legal proceedings.
* Handle electronic and physical filing of documents with courts
or administrative bodies.
* Maintain organized electronic case files and administrative
records.
* Manage attorney calendars, including meetings, deadlines, and
important dates.
* Review incoming mail and route items appropriately.
* Assist with time entry and coordinate with billing personnel to
support timely invoicing.
* Open new matters and track related administrative details.
* Prepare check requests and coordinate vendor payments as
needed.
* Assist with travel arrangements and prepare expense
reimbursements.
* Provide backup support to other administrative staff during
absences.
* Work occasional overtime when required.
* Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma required; additional education preferred.
* Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) as a legal secretary
or legal administrative professional.
* Experience supporting senior‑level attorneys is highly valued.
* Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain organization
in a high‑volume environment.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently while also
collaborating effectively with a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
* Familiarity with legal technology tools such as document
management systems, time‑entry software, and calendaring programs
(specific systems may vary).
* Strong client‑service orientation and professional demeanor.
