Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Location: New York, NY 10017

Salary/Payrate: 80-85K – Temp to Perm (40-45/hr onsite) and
$80K-$85K after conversion

Work Environment: HYBRID (3 days ONSITE, 2 days REMOTE)

Term: Full-time, direct hire

Referral Fee: AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join their
New York City office to support an active litigation team. The
ideal candidate will provide high-level support to attorneys
focusing on Mass Torts and Civil Defense Litigation. This
position offers exponential opportunity for someone looking to
perform challenging work in a collaborative, team environment
within a well-established, but growing organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Draft and format shell discovery responses, correspondence, and
pleading shells.
* Prepare hearing and trial notebooks
* Manage and maintain calendaring of court deadlines, hearings,
and discovery obligations
* E-file documents in state and federal courts
* Assist with trial preparation
* Perform internet and legal research using Westlaw and other
platforms

QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw,
PACER/ECF
* Strong internet research and analytical skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight
deadlines
* Willingness to work overtime as needed, including occasional
evenings or weekends during trial prep
