JOB DESCRIPTION

A California mid‑sized law firm is seeking a Real Estate
Paralegal to support attorneys with commercial real estate
transactions and related projects. This fully remote role
involves title and lease review, due diligence coordination,
closing support, entity formation assistance, and ongoing
post‑closing follow‑up. The ideal candidate has strong
transactional experience, excellent organizational skills, and
the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced
practice.

Position Overview: The Real Estate Paralegal will assist with all
phases of commercial real estate matters, including document
review, closing preparation, communication with title companies,
and coordination of transaction timelines. The role also supports
drafting legal documents, preparing closing binders, handling
finance‑related filings, and contributing to occasional land use
or zoning projects.

Responsibilities:

* Review title commitments, surveys, leases, and related real
estate documents.
* Assist with due diligence, including collecting, organizing,
and summarizing property information.
* Coordinate closing processes, prepare closing documents, and
communicate with title and escrow teams.
* Manage post‑closing tasks, including tracking deliverables and
collecting outstanding items.
* Draft legal documents such as entity formation materials,
closing certificates, and transactional forms.
* Prepare and file UCC financing statements and assist with loan
documentation.
* Maintain transaction checklists, timelines, and closing
binders.
* Support attorneys with zoning, land use, or entitlement
research as needed.
* Organize case files, update document repositories, and assist
with general administrative tasks.
* Train new team members on procedures, workflows, and document
management systems.
* Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all
work product.

Qualifications:

* Must reside in California
* Several years of experience as a real estate paralegal in a law
firm or commercial real estate environment.
* Strong understanding of title review, lease analysis, and
closing procedures.
* Experience coordinating due diligence and managing transaction
timelines.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management
tools.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and follow‑through
skills.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment while
managing multiple priorities.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex
transactional documentation.
