JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, a well-regarded Texas based law firm, is looking for
a Trust & Estates Legal Assistant to join their Houston team.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys across
various practice areas
* Maintain and organize digital and physical correspondence,
records, and files
* Manage attorney calendars, monitor deadlines, and arrange
meetings and court appearances
* Relay communications and coordinate conference calls,
consultations, and virtual meetings
* Coordinate travel logistics and process expense reimbursement
submissions
* Prepare legal materials including correspondence, pleadings,
discovery, entity formations, and deeds
* Oversee document production, including redactions and Bates
numbering
* Coordinate auxiliary services such as courier deliveries,
document processing, and conference room scheduling
* Develop and maintain complex organizational charts
* File documents with the Secretary of State and conduct name
availability searches
* Electronically file court documents and submit real property
recordings
* Prepare, issue, and deposit checks for estate accounts
* Compile and distribute electronic closing binders
* Support trial and deposition preparation, including assistance
with private offering documentation
* Coordinate CLE registrations and monitor attorney compliance
hours
* Review, revise, and distribute pre-bills and client invoices

Core Skills & Expertise

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook,
Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Familiarity with legal timekeeping and billing platforms,
preferably Aderant
* Typing speed of approximately 70 words per minute
* Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
* Exceptional accuracy with a high level of proofreading
precision
* Competence in drafting, revising, and formatting legal
documents
* Solid understanding of state and county court procedures
* Ability to thrive in high-volume, deadline-driven settings

Qualifications

* Minimum of five years of progressive experience performing
advanced administrative functions in a professional environment
