Job Description:

As the Manager of Accounts Payable and Receivable, you will be a
key player in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of
our financial records. Your meticulous attention to detail,
in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable,
accounts receivable, and ability to work independently and
collaboratively will be instrumental in contributing to our
firm’s financial success.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee and streamline the accounts payable and collection
processes
* Work with all areas of the organization to ensure all clients
remain informed
* Manage and ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables
* Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc forecasting
reports
* Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivables
* Review and approve all transactions and reconciliations
* Balance and reconcile accounts payable and receivables
* Prepare and analyze monthly accounts payable and receivables
reports on a Cash Basis
* Utilize available software to maintain accurate financial
records and generate reports
* Improve and streamline accounts payable and receivables
processes
* Mentor, train, guide, and evaluate department staff
* Comply with all company, local, state, and federal accounting,
and financial regulations
* Collaborate with the accounting team and contribute to
financial audits
* Stay updated with industry laws and regulations
* Partner with the Director of Finance to develop and implement
policies and procedures
* Other projects assigned by the Director of Finance

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
* 5+ years of experience in a law firm or professional services
environment
* 5+ years of working knowledge of accounting principles,
practices, and procedures
* 5+ years of working knowledge of accounts payable and
receivables processes
* Understanding of collections process
* Ability to manage and lead a small team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products,
specifically Excel
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize
tasks effectively
