Job Description:
Our client, a well-regarded full-service Texas based law firm,
has an immediate opening in their Houston, TX office for a
Litigation Legal Assistant with a minimum of 5+ years of
experience supporting attorneys in complex administrative tasks.
The Litigation Legal Assistant will be responsible for preparing
attorneys for drafting correspondence, memoranda and other
documents, maintaining files, travel arrangements, expense
reporting and other administrative tasks. The Litigation Legal
Assistant role is full-time, direct hire and requires going in
office each day.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience supporting attorneys in a law
firm.
* Candidates should possess excellent writing and communication
skills and can work independently.
* Demonstrate excellent attention detail, organization and is
self-motivated.
* Software: Must have proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office
Suite, (Outlook, Word, Excel) Knowledge of billing software,
(preferably Aderant).
Responsibilities:
* The position requires the ability to work independently and be
able to meet deadlines.
* Work closely with other attorneys and support staff in
efficient communication and status updates.
* Manage high volume calendar of court appearances, client
meetings, and depositions.
