Network Engineer – DNS/DHCP

basis and will pay an hourly rate of $39/HR or $81K W2 to $77/HR
or $160K W2, dependent on level of experience, with full benefits
and PTO. After a brief orientation period the position will allow
for a hybrid work week with 2 days a week onsite/3 remote.

Description: Network Engineer – DNS/DHCP

Activities will include:

* Configure, administer, document DNS multi-view configuration,
DHCP services
* High level troubleshooting of network, protocols, and
application issues
* IP mgmt, DNS, DHCP administration
* API scripting in python.
* Linux administration to include scripting and file system
management
* Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all
cases.

Required Skills:

* IP Mgmt., DNS, DHCP configuration, scripting of API calls.
* Strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP/IP, DNS, DHCP
* Knowledge of TCP, understanding network, protocol and
application traffic flows
* Ability to troubleshoot basic network issues including IPv6.
* Network knowledge
* Network design and implementation
* Network troubleshooting
* Tracking budget expenses
* Project management
* Problem solving and analytical skills
* Time-management skills
* Strong documentation skills
* LAN knowledge

Desired Skills:

* Experience with APIs, scripting, and Splunk data flows.
Preferred Perl, python and JavaScript.
