Jamie Rogers is Vice President of Recruiting and Business Development at AMS Staffing. Jamie has been in the recruiting world for over 25 years with a background recruiting not only Legal and IT professionals, but also Actuaries, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Executive, Customer Service, and Project Management. Imagine Jamie in her early days, armed with a desk phone, a fax, and a relentless passion for matching exceptional talent with the perfect opportunities. Jamie prides herself in building a foundation of trust and understanding and establishing herself as a reliable partner for both candidates and clients. This is done through a combination of effective communication, transparency, follow-up, empathy, and building rapport. Jamie graduated from the University of Iowa where she was a cross country and track athlete. She has run countless 5K, 8K, mud runs, and half marathons. She completed the Chicago Marathon the same year her son was born. Living in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she has participated in Ragbrai, the Annual Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (from the western to the eastern border). Although she resides in the Midwest, Jamie’s heart belongs on the beach near the ocean. In her free time, Jamie enjoys traveling with her family and two children, listening to live music, going to sporting events (especially her son’s college baseball games), gardening, and striving to be the next Cake Boss.
